Kuljit contributes chapter to ‘How to change the world’
Kuljit Sandhu was recently published in ‘How to Change the World – The Essential Guide for Social Sector Leaders’, in which she wrote a chapter on team leadership drawing on her experience as MD at RISE Mutual.
‘How to Change the World’, by Craig Dearden-Phillips, brings together 27 successful leaders from the charity and social business sector to share their experiences and opinions on making a bigger impact to the world, as well as remaining strong, happy and balanced.

Diversifying – opportunity and challenge
Morphing into an employee-owned mutual has made it easier for RISE to broaden its range of youth services. RISE now works with families affected by domestic abuse, troubled teenagers and their parents and youngsters who find school traumatic and fail to attend. But, as Kuljit explains: ‘We will only diversify to the level where out quality of service remains the same – it is always better to do a few things well than many things badly.’
