We support children and young people (aged between 11-24) who have experienced domestic abuse in the home.
Bambu is a victim-focused service to support children and young people (CYP) who have been experiencing domestic abuse in their home. RISE will work with individuals aged 16-24, with Waythrough working with individuals aged 11-15. It is a specialist, tailored service to meet the holistic needs of the CYP impacted by domestic abuse in the home. With up to 8 one-on-one sessions, Bambu will endeavour to support and empower CYP with Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) techniques, and up to 8 trauma-focused group work and restorative family sessions.
This programme works within a multi-agency approach, RISE and DVIP, a division of RF, are organisations with experience working with CYP across London. Between us, we work with over 3,000 individuals annually, including services such as Child to Parent Violence programmes, therapeutic services for CYP and programmes for those being abusive in their relationships (including CYP), with an essential integrated victim safety support service. SafeLives will provide expert advice and support.
