Working with Drive Partnership, this pan-London domestic abuse behaviour change programme is for high-risk, high-harm people causing harm.

Drive was created in partnership with Respect, SafeLives, and Social Finance in collaboration with PCCs, local authorities, and service providers. The overarching aim is to reduce abuse and increase the safety of victim/survivors to transform lives and improve communities. Drive Partnership is a pan-London domestic abuse behaviour change programme for high-risk, high-harm domestic abuse perpetrators. We work with them to deliver a one-on-one course which focuses on preventing the risk of harmful behaviour on victim/survivors and families and challenging the individual to change. This whole system approach incorporates an intensive case management system and promotes change through support and disrupting the abuse.

Over the course of 3-12 months, a case manager works one-on-one with the person causing harm, tailoring the sessions to support those who face barriers in terms of mental health, substance misuse, employment concerns, and issues in the home. Our focus is on effective rehabilitation, and ensuring long-term behaviour change to reduce the risk of harm to the victim/survivor.
